Petrita Hernández is the founder of the Astro-Analysis Research Center. At fourteen, she began her astrological studies in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Four years later she was apprenticing with some of the best professional astrologers on the island: Walter Mercado, Armando Estrella, and Mercedes Echevarria.

She began her private practice in 1968 and that same year joined the American Federation of Astrologers. In 1971, she relocated to New York City and was fortunate to study under Charles Jane and other leaders of the National Council of Geocosmic Research (NCGR). Petrita has a Master’s in Bilingual Education and a PhD in Education. This allowed her to complete research and provide astrological counseling for children.

Petrita has relocated to Los Angeles, California and is offering services in diverse areas of astrology: natal, predictive, relationship synastry (comparison of charts), children’s development, prenatal, horary, event selection, and palmistry.

Astrology is the study of man and his relationship with the Cosmos, from the time-space perspective of the individual.

Our personal circumstances reflect our inner state of mind. Just as the physical body grows to maturity, so does the inner self. Patterns of this inner growth are reflected in the circumstances that we create in everyday life. In order to make sense of what is happening, it is necessary to explore the inner worlds.

The language of the inner worlds of experience utilizes symbols and gives a basis for our understanding of astrology.
